Transbay Transit Terminal

Transbay Transit Terminal from Andy Miller on Vimeo.

The sprawling San Francisco Transbay Transit Terminal was permanently closed on August 7th, 2010, after 72 years, to make way for the new Transbay Transit Center, which is scheduled for completion in August, 2017.
The Transbay Transit Terminal had long been home to hundreds of homeless, because of it's shelter and accessible bathrooms. With the closing of the terminal most of the homeless have been forced to evacuate but some still remain.
Yesterday Robin and I went down there to capture a few images before it's completely torn down.

Films For Lunch, Issue 1: Overhead Clearnce

Films For Lunch, issue 1: Overhead Clearnce from Andy Miller on Vimeo.

'Films For Lunch' is a new series of shorts I'm doing with my old pal, Robin Moore, (you may remember we collaborated way back for 'Pop That Collar') where we hook up on our lunch breaks and have exactly one hour to shoot a short film.

This first installment takes a meta look into our thought process as we attempt to make this very episode.
